Seeing Life Differently

Visual illustration of youth activities (3 blue bubbles)

We have helped thousands of blind people become more independent and able to take on challenges by making the Foundation a school of life.

ACTIVITIES

Military Police donations - activities - using a rope bridge over a stream

Our group activities and outings replace the recess with friends that our youths don’t get to experience in school. This helps them carry on and start life off on the right foot.

HOUSING

Slider Habitations - Résidence Habitoeil MontréalThere are currently three housing complexes adapted for the blind, as well as other future projects. The Foundation is trying to improve quality of life one brick at a time.

PREVENTION

Slider Prevention & Awareness - feet walking with white cane

The Foundation never loses sight of prevention, an issue it considers as important as that of meeting the needs of the visually impaired.

In addition to promoting independent living for people with visual disabilities, the Quebec Foundation for the Blind supports its clients in the organization of their daily lives, and wages a constant battle against isolation.

Amazing! It’s a great gang! I loved the sailboat excursion in Rimouski, ziplining in Old Montreal, and the radio activity at Citécoute in Boscoville!

Very good. I enjoyed the water slides in Pointe-Calumet. I also liked the instructors of the QFB. I enjoyed playing the guitar at Musique O Max.
